I don’t get ads but I had the same problem during the entire weekend. Seems to work fine now, but I am curious whether there is any explanation for the problem. I kept getting messages like time out or server unreachable.

I’ve been getting 502 and 504 errors again all morning.

I was not on this morning, but there was a brief period of server timeout errors at around 12:30 PM today. It only lasted about 10 minutes, but whatever has been ailing the system has apparently still not been fully fixed. It’s really discouraging and it wouldn’t surprise me if we lose membership over this, as it’s been ongoing like this for months.

This thing is like a sickness – once it starts, it continues intermittently, sometimes for days, making the board practically unusable. You make a post when you can, and then you don’t know if maybe the lack of response is due to the person giving up on the board and going away to someplace that actually works. Or you make a post, as I did just now elsewhere on the site, and then immediately think of something to add to it, but the system goes into non-responsiveness and the stupid five minute timeout locks out the post. Or IOW, the board is unusable. And it’s been like this, off and on, for months.

We’re experiencing some issues. I’m getting logged out pretty frequently and am having difficulty posting. Apologies for delays in responses.

Just got immediate database errors the last several times I tried this morning. Hoping that means that they took the board down to fix something.

Well, this is the first time in like 18 hours I’ve been able to sign on to the board. Perhaps a sign of betterment. Will continue to monitor.
