Anybody know about collecting printing errors in greeting cards?

In going through a bunch of old stuff to sell on eBay, we came across a Hallmark greeting card from 1983 with a major error on the front. Mrs. Home picked this up back in the day because the fancy raised gilt letters on the top front of the card are printed twice, offset a quarter inch horizontally.

So we have “A message of Sympathy” in small all caps at the top, and below in flowing calligraphy with embellished caps “On The Death of Your Mother,” both overprinted and offset horizontally, though not vertically.

We also have the cash register receipt dated in November 1983, with the card priced at $1 (which matches the code on the back).

We tried looking for card errors and get only baseball trading card stuff. When we search greeting card errors we get discussions of errors while trying to print from computer greeting card programs.

I don’t know if there’s an interest, a market for them or even people who collect them. any information would be welcome.

Thanks so much,
