ETA: Do you guys buy colors ASAP or save up for bombs? I used my first five in ~10 games and haven’t really missed them (Except for when I missed “Wrestler” on a 39 streak… DOH!) and I bought 1 pack already, now I’m nearing the 2nd one and debating waiting for bombs.
I find the colors (at least the basic pack that I bought) MUCH more useful than the bombs. With the bombs, they tend to become a bit of a crutch for me, but if I don’t have them, I do better at figuring things out.
Right now, I have some bombs because I was desperate for different words to choose from in one of my games. 
Dude, that Bowser was unbelievable. I’ve never gone so long and then gotten it right. I feel my hopes dropping, but on that one, it just crystallized as Bowser all the sudden.

I love when you descramble the words before the drawing is done, or even more than a few lines. I’m picturing the other guy saying, “How did he KNOW?!”
Hey Labtrash, I got “Sorority” and had the greatest drawing EVER but I lost it because of a shitty connection
I ponied up for the full version to get rid of the ads, so I had extra “cash” for a color pack - that helped a lot, because you really do need at least green and brown. I know somebody missed my “wildfire” because they probably had no idea those were supposed to be trees.
ETA - sandra_nz had an awesome one yesterday - first a wedding, and I was all “bride? groom? ceremony? wedding?” and she scrapped it and then there were a bunch of dudes carrying protest signs under, um, I dunno, the aurora borealis? And I was all “WTF? Protest?” and then she scrapped that and just drew two rings together and I ALMOST gave up, I stared at that thing for like five minutes, and then it came fully formed into my brain “Oh, duh. Union.”
Wait one stinking minute - I’m watching somebody try to guess something of mine (“shy”) and they don’t even have those letters available! Is that a known bug?
I kept trying for “dragon” and “godzilla” and so forth. It wasn’t until way, way, late that it turned into Bowser for me. It’s a good reason to keep going.

I am playing someone who is so good at getting the word across that I always can guess it before she is 1/3 through it. And then there are those who (a) don’t know the word (one person drew a perfectly clear computer mouse..too bad the word was “muse”), or (b) believe in abstract art…
I bought colors and they make a huge difference. I have enough for the cheapest bomb refill, but I am holding out till I absolutely have to have them.

you have to be careful when you pick the word - On a couple occasions i must have tapped one of the other words, and didnt notice until I was sending it that I was doing the wrong word - The recipient must’ve thought I was nuts.

I had the same glitch as described above, though. I finished drawing “Kobe” and it sent off as “Bandage,” which is not at all the same thing.
Once you buy colors, are they always available?
No, it had the correct word (shy) up on the screen when it said we had missed it!
