Some years back they had a syndicated TV show called “Comedy Break” that I remember enjoying quite a lot. They seem to have disappeared somewhere along the way. Comedians generally have a pretty short half-life, I guess.
I remember Mack and Jamie. Funny guys. “Comedy Break” was the first time I saw Jan Hooks, not including Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.
I think they were also in a movie about a million-dollar heist or something. Hmm.
We have always been “clean comics” so we ended up doing hundreds of corporate shows. Haven’t done a Comedy Club since the Ice House 50th Anniversary. It’s been a sweet ride…
In keeping with the slow motion theme of this thread, thank you for replying Jamie. I’m glad to hear that you and Mack are still performing.
I guess they’re still working: http://www.mackandjamie.com/
“Don’t think of them as cows. Think of them as savings banks with udders.”
From Mack and Jamie’s “Trunk and Bunk” sketch. I laughed so hard that I hurt myself.
