I really like the actors in this series, especially Chi McBride, Jackie Earle Haley, and Indira Varma.
I like the character of Chance, but he’s so opaque I think there are a lot of actors who could play the part.
I love the pleasure Guerrero takes in his work, and that a man of such short stature is such a total dangerous badass.
But what I most want to know is this: Is there a dictionary where I can look up “Betty Jean” and “Uncle Andy”?
We were having a discussion of it over here. The general consensus is that if you are not watching Human Target, you are either communist, facist, terrorist, or all of the above.
Terrorist is probably closest to the truth in my case but it doesn’t really fit either. It seems like a lot of work to me. Annoyist is probably closer.
BTW, I used to watch Human Target but when Lee Majors showed up, I had to jump ship.
This is one of my favorite new shows. It’s just fun all around. I usually hate when they add new characters to a show but Mrs. Pucci and hot girl, I think, add to the show.
Respectfully disagree on Mrs. Pucci - the addition of her made it a ‘business’ (gun for hire) instead of the more original premise - dude you went to for help, based on a reference of a friend - I also find her somewhat annoying with her constant questioning of “you’re going to do what?” - although the eye brow moments of the other chars usually makes up for it.
Thief girl - yeah - she brings many talents to the show that were needed.
Guerrero should have his own show. Jackie Earle Haley is the main reason I watch Human Target.
I find the thief girl character annoying, much worse than Mrs. Pucci. I would have preferred a revolving door of recurring female characters rather than cast additions.
Haley is good, but Chi McBride is vastly underrated in Human Target threads. He’s good in everything he does. He can go from comic to serious and back and still be believable. As for Mark Valley, he’s got small screen charisma and presence and is perfect for the role.
“Hot Girl” is Cousin Oliver with a sex change. She’s awful. A really bad idea that ended up badly written and badly acted on top of it.
I like the show and my son loves it, but I don’t see it lasting beyond this season after the changes they made.
