Aren’t we just the coolest? :smiley: Heh, I was talking to my friend A. this morning and she surprised me by saying:

And it made me think, it is true…Geminis come in two varieties:

  1. Incredibly sweet, interesting, fascinating, creative and versatile folks who are a joy to be around (that would be me)

  2. And raving psycho lunatic bitches/punks (that would be my mother in law)

I would also go out on a limb and suggest that Geminis born in May are ever so slightly more “Gemini-ish” than those born in June.

Note Um, I don’t actually believe in astrology…God knows I’ve proved what a clear and rational thinker I am on these boards time after time…however, I must make an exception when it comes to Geminis.

My birthday is in 12 days from this post. Allow me to add a third type: the Gemini who switches between type 1 and type 2. For example, I’m normally a type 1 but segue into type 2 on occasion.

I have two distinct personalities and I’m famous for it among my friends. On more than one occasion I"ve heard “You are like two completely separate people,” or “I can’t believe you’re the same person.” At work and in settings that call for it I’m serious, a bit rigid, focused, very linear and logical. Away from work and in social settings I let it all hang out. Hedonist, sensualist, just a whole lot of fun. I call one “The Suit Self” and the other “The Other One.”

I’m not reall into astrology either, but this trait is so pronounced that I had the Gemini zodiac sign tattooed into the small of my back. Now, when I wear my suit and I’m sitting in a meeting with the Governor, I know there’s a little bit of “The Other One” with me.

Come on over and we’ll all have a drink or ten.

I look at it this way, I’m never really alone am I? I can argue either side of any argument.

June 20 Gemnii here.

Since my birthday is very close to the cusp, I’m practically a Cancer but I show absolutely NO signs of being anything like one. I’m pure Gemnii, all the way baby! Usually more of the Type 1…but on a bad PMS day, Type 2 can spring up out of nowhere.

I don’t much believe in astrology either, but it is amazing how descriptions of Gemnii’s have got me pegged.

Depends which horroscope you read…I am born on June 21st, and some have me in Gemini and some in Cancer…I read both of them and pick the best one :wink:

Hey, Chef, we have the same birthday!

I’m a Gemini on the Western system, and a Monkey on the Chinese system. Both descriptions are pretty accurate.
