I’m named Mike and Virgo enough that I choose the horoscope that looks better–if I’m going to pretend there is something to this I might as well enjoy it. Like I pick and choose the best drug side effects.
The funny thing about it is that, while I don’t believe in astrology, I so TOTALLY NOT a Scorpio.
As for Chinese astrology, I’m a Horse. The placemats say I should never marry a Boar, but that’s good advice regardless.
But it gave you at least twice as much to write about. “Well, there’s this and here is why it could be right. Then there’s this, which, on the surface, looks totally opposite, but it makes some valid points, too. And this contradicts them both, but also makes some good points.” Thesis, antithesis, and synthesis become easy in a gray world. But don’t try explaining it to a Leo.
In rely to someone’s earlier post, the last day of school in 1st grade fell on my birthday, as did my 18th birthday, which was also the day I graduated from high school.
May 28th here. Creative (obsessive), large vocabulary (argumentative), generous (needy), independent (independent), energetic (slothful), artistic (lover of science and scientists), open to new experiences (golf course sex, anyone?). I am the perfect “take me to Vegas for the weekend” kind of girl, but then (sadly) they all want to marry me. Maybe I should cash in the frequent flyer
miles and go to Amsterdam instead???
Oh yeah, my “twins” are philanthropic. A French man said that to me, perhaps there was something missing in the translation but I knew what he meant.
My nephew was born on June 23rd, I think. Cancer. During her pregnancy my sister said, “Please God, don’t let him be a Gemini like my brother!” (She was born June 29th, BTW.)
My sun sign is Taurus, but I got my chart off the web and I have the Moon, Venus and Mars in Gemini - so I’m Taurus (earthy, likes music) with Gemini tendencies (artsy, expressive). Put them together and you get a belly dancer.
Me too. June 3rd. Yup, I’m multi-flavored. Sometimes of the quiet, introspective, articulate, serious class. While other times extremely outgoing, wacky and just plain bizzare. Always passionate and caring though.
Anouther gemini checking in.
Borned on the 11th.
I’ve always wanted to meet someone
who is borned on the same day as me
and see if we’re a bit like as a person.
One person–two simultanious careers. Librarian, specializing in computers and on-line reference. Professional theater costumer who writes in her spare time.
I think astrology is a load of crap, but that’s just like a Gemini.
June 14 (wave a flag for me!) with a husband on 6/17 and a son on 6/7.
Oh yeah…I’m Gemini…and I’m definitely twice as ??? as anyone else! June 18th marks the day.
The warning I gave to my wife after we hooked up:
“I’m a loving, caring, adorable, cute and friendly guy who is a complete and total ASSHOLE from time to time. Can you deal with that?”
The only reason my analytical mind doean’t thoroughly trash astrology is that sometimes I read accounts about Gemini’s and go “Hmmm. I can totally relate.”
Gemini checking in! June 8th and I’m a true Gemini too. Sometimes I’m sweet & sometimes I’m not! I’m all for a Gemini takeover—let’s pick a day for a mass celebration of our unique personalities!
Same birthday as Judy Garland; all I have in common with her is brown eyes and hair. I’m not left-handed or a singer; and F. Lee Bailey; he too is a lefty; if I had his powers of persuasion I’d be socially (and financially!) independent by now.
I went to high school with a girl born on January 1; she had two brothers, one born June 3 and the other June 14. (The second one is no longer living. The girl had a rabid rival, born on December 29; they crossed swords for ten years.)
My mother was born on September 21.
(Other Geminis: Paul McCartney and Guy Lombardo. :D)
