Anyone else fill up your shot card?

Here in Virginia they’re easy about the cards: I forgot mine when I got one of my boosters and they just shrugged and gave me another card, said if I wanted to bring them both, they’d merge them for me (presumably by copying from the new to the old). I think there are four slots on the front and two on the back, so not full yet.

OTOH nobody has EVER asked to see it except the pharmacy when giving me the next shot!

The wife and I got our most recent Covid booster yesterday. I have space for one more on my card, but for some reason on the wife’s card they took up extra space early on, so hers is full now despite having the same number of shots as I have.

Many of us had a line filled with the date we needed our second shot. Maybe compare them? In my and my mother’s case, the date for second jab was on the first line on the back.

Ours have extra slots on the back but they aren’t supposed to be used according to the state.

I got the J&J vaccine (only one shot needed) in May of last year. Nothing since.

Got my fifth shot this morning. Card was full, so the pharmacist started a new one.

I got a shot on a whim yesterday, so I didn’t have my shot card with me, and I didn’t get any sort of printout or record of it to take home. But I got some nice 10% off coupons!

I guess no one told Hawaii that.

That’s odd. We have so much in common as the only two island state’s.

It seems like a confused mess.

I’ve had 5 shots: three full strength Modernas, one half strength Moderna, and one BA5 Moderna booster, in that order.

When I got the 3rd full strength Moderna, they said “This is not a booster, this is a 3rd shot.” For Moderna, the distinction is that boosters are half strength. My first 3 shots were all full strength.

We have “COVID 19 Vaccination Record Cards” here with CDC branding and no mention of locale. it has two Covid vaccination lines and two Other vaccination lines. My first card has a Covid vaccination sticker covering both Covid lines, and two more Covid shots written into the two Other lines. They also got my birthday wrong, for good measure, and crossed it out and corrected it with pen. My second card has Covid vaccinations written into the two Covid lines. I don’t know if I will get a 3rd card with my next Covid shot, or what.

I’m very clear what shots I got, but I don’t think I’m hearing consensus about the terminology for it.

I’ve had five Moderna shots. I don’t have my physical card at hand, but I think there was only space for three vaccinations on the front of the card. I have two vaccination stickers on the back of the card. I keep the physical card in a credential pouch on a lanyard (hung on the back of a door), and my QR code and vaccination record in the Files app of my iPhone.

I got my updated booster last night, and filled the 4th (and final) line on my card. I was sort of hoping for Pfizer, since my other three were Moderna. But I wanted to get the shot this weekend, to give it plenty of time to work before Thanksgiving, and because of that, Moderna seemed to be more available.

I have never had extremely bad reactions like some people. Nevertheless, my previous reactions were sufficiently bad that I was honestly slightly dreading this one. But I read somewhere that exercise helps mitigate the reaction. So when I got home after the shot, one of the first things I did was do some pushups to work that shoulder muscle.

So far (famous last words) it seems to have helped. But my 3rd shot had a delayed reaction compared to the first two, so I’m not celebrating just yet.
