I don’t want to start a rumor, but our office has ties to the music industry, and we just heard that Whitney Houston OD’d. I can’t get any news on this. Is it true (I hope not).

I had no idea she was such a druggy until recently.
The only thing I heard was that last night she was supposed to perform for another Michael Jackson concert and backed out only two hours before the show was supposed to start. But this doesn’t surprise me in the least. She did the exact same thing at an award show last year (I can’t remember if it was the Academy Awards or the Grammys, it was one of the bigger award shows though). Just a couple of weeks ago, her hubby Bobby supposedly had a “seizure” and was taken to the hospital, but then adamantly refused to submit to alcohol or drug testing. Just last week, she performed a concert for Michael Jackson’s 30th anniversary and she looked downright anorexic, really super skinny and strung out looking. It has long been rumored that both she and Bobby are major cokeheads.
I’ve been hearing about her drug problem for a while.
I checked http://www.calendarlive.com/ - LATime’s entertainment site. Nothing there, at least not on the front page. I should think that they’d have the news, if there was any such news on Whitney.
We just heard the same thing around the office. Not sure if it’s true, salaicious rumours travel fast.
