I didn’t know about that game. I’m just now about to beat The Unwound Future, and I was under the impression that that would be the last game in the series.
I’ll be sure to get Last Spectre when I’m finished with this one.
Then you’re going to be thrilled to know that there’s already ANOTHER game, in addition to Spectre. Though it’s only in Japan for now, but it’ll likely be coming to the US next year.
Nintendo Power does have a 5th game to this series listed in its section for newly announced games, but its listed as 3DS title.
I don’t have it yet, but I’ll pick it up sometime before the end of the year. This is such a great series.
Layton 5 (“The Mask of Miracle”) is out in Japan on 3DS, and I’m fairly sure this is a second trilogy, so there should be a sixth game appearing relatively soon. There’s also a Professor Layton / Phoenix Wright crossover game, although that might end up being Japan-only.
Also the Layton movie comes out on DVD in a couple weeks!
