Anyone else really bad at keeping in touch with people?

I’m the same way. I only ever talk to out of state family on birthdays and holidays. If a friend is not local then I haven’t talked to them since they moved.

I have told all my local friends that I am bad at keeping in touch and just because I don’t phone them for awhile doesn’t mean I want to stop being friends with them and they seem to understand, hell they hardly ever call me either, but it doesn’t bother me because I understand that life is busy.

Once I didn’t talk to a friend for a year and a half and then one day he called and asked if I wanted to go shoot pool and we did and it was like it had only been a couple of weeks since last we had hung out. He lives almost two hours away now so we only get together for movies every couple months or so. We meet at a place half-way in-between and pretty much spend the whole day hanging out.

C (no hyphen) M (no U) is its own strange, strange, strange, intense little world. I spent four years there and can’t name a single normal person!

Perhaps the best example of the strange intenseness that abounds can be found here: Escape from CMU. Dan Goldwasser did this back in '97 as the final project for a class. (Yes, I know most of the actors.)
snerk Reading through the rest of the site, I see he’s now been hired by my other uni: GSO. (Home of the Institute for Archeologic Oceanography - aka “The Bob Ballard Show”) No, there’s no rivalry between Physical and Archeological…
