Anyone else see the moustaches on Cartoon Network last night?

Just out of curiosity…did anyone else notice the scribbled moustaches and beards superimposed on some characters on some Cartoon Network programming, last night?

Or am I just going insane?

Why, no, Ranchoth, Adult Swim was completely normal last night…

Yeah, I saw 'em. First noticed them in Witch Hunter Robin, and was all confused because I was pretty sure that guy was supposed to be clean shaven. The hat on the crow in the next scene tipped me off to what was happening, though. Funny at first, got old after the first fifteen minutes, and I finally turned it off half-way through Inuyasha. Did it build up to anything really good by the end of the programming block, or was it just more of the same the whole night?

(I’m also glad they didn’t do it to Futurama. Mess with that anime crap all you like, but keep your grubby Sharpies off my Futurama!)

I didn’t see the first showing, but the later (after midnight) showing of Futurama did have the moustaches. I imagine they saved them for the showing that was actually on April 1st.

It was a cute gag, but it quit being all that funny pretty fast.

I noticed the moustache as I was flicking through that wretched cartoon they try to pass off as anime–what really confused me was their constant reminders to “spring back” and gain an hour–I’m no good at remembering that stuff anyway, and had to check my calendar fully twice before remembering that it was indeed this weekend that I had to do it, and I would be springing forward and losing an hour of sleep.

And thank God I caught the early Futurama. ::swoons for cleanshaven Fry::

Huh? If you don’t mind my asking, which wretched cartoon is that?

I noticed it in Family Guy first. Sometimes hats were drawn as well. I figured it was an April Fools thingie.
