I know the TV series hasn’t been up to snuff for a couple of years, but the movie trailers are funny enough to brighten up my whole day at work. Here’s a short one:
Regardless of how good or bad the show has gotten, I absolutely can’t not go see the movie!
I might try to catch it when it comes to cable, but there’s no way a Simpson’s movie can be as good as the 30-minute series. For one, Homer is incapable of concentrating long enough to maintain a feature-length plot. In addition, with that span of time, Maggie may be forced to talk. It’s just a bad idea all the way around.
I think the last two years have been the best in a long time, but that’s probably another topic. I’ve been very happy with the trailers. It looks like they’re cramming a ton of different plots into the movie, so I wonder if some are jokes, but what I’ve seen so far is very funny and looks great.
You might be right, but I hope you’re not. After all, Beavis & Butt-head and South Park made the jump to the big screen pretty successfully.
My own personal fear is that the trailers will spoil all the best jokes.
I didn’t say unsuccessful; I just don’t think it will be very good. I hope I’m wrong. Homer rules! I’m sure they’ll make a gajillion bucks.
Woohoo! The trailer looks great. I wouldn’t be surprised if not all of what’s shown ends up onscreen, but who knows?
Oh, and we didn’t see Kang and Kodos.
