Yes..Bayliss is at least courteous enough to go in the closet to do that and other loud emanating.
He’s kind of an embarrassed dog anyway. If I chide the Chihuahuas I look in the closet and he will be laying with his belly up.
And his burps sound amazingly human like.

Audible farting on rare occasions, yes.
In one memorable instance, Bessie the Labrador emitted a fart, turned and looked at her butt in amazement.
Oh the outlaws(Chihuahuas) bark at their own and each other’s butts all the time. Farting is their hobby.
The little shits weigh about 6lbs total, it is mostly odor. I promise.
With them and 2 preteen boys it smells reeeeally nice around here. Some days.
My dog would sometimes scare himself away with his own farts. He’d rip one, spring off the ground suddenly, looking around to see what woke him up. As far as burps go, I’ve found that some larger breeds can burp in a way that sounds suspiciously human. My small dog, about 12 pounds at his mightiest, would burp on occasion but it didn’t sound like a person.
When I take Piper Mutt for walks in the winter, I can sometimes see his farts.

Jack doesn’t fart too much, and the odor when he does can’t compare to those of our late yellow lab Bean. She could clear a room in no time. Our late beagle/heeler mix Ginger farted audibly, but there was rarely any odor. Neither ever burped so that we could hear it.
We had a dog that would not only burp, but seemed to save it until he could burp in your face. A truly lovable son of a bitch.

Our dogs do that on occasion. They look you right in the eyes and soft burp slips out!
