I receive a weekly newsletter from Active.com; this week’s edition featured a link to Urban Challenge .
I’ve barely skimmed the site, but man, does it sound fun! The entry fee is a bit steep ($75.00), but it sounds like a cool thing to do.
Any Dopers ever heard of it or actually compete in one?

Man, I thought the $75 was for the team not per person!
The one in San Diego is coming up in August. I’ve heard a couple of people I run with talking about doing it, but I’m not sure if they will.
I’ll be checking back to see if anyone’s actually done one yet.
This sounds like The Amazing Race with a Survivor challenge mixed in.
