That’s sweet of you to offer, but I’m only going to be in town Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and I don’t know yet what my plans are for those evenings…though I’m not leaving until midnight Thursday from union Station on the MegaBus.
Honestly, no real plans. Packing, and I actually predict it will be done by Wednesday night. And if it’s not, it’ll be damn close, and I don’t leave for another week after that, myself.
Union Station is an easy bus ride from Little Italy. I don’t mean to push, but you do sound sort of interested. I’ll leave it up to you. Feel free to PM me if you’d like to grab dinner or something. Heck, I’ll probably be taking myself all by myself to dollar burgers on Tuesday. You’d be welcome to join me.
As for everyone else, I’ll get back to figuring out Bowling tomorrow. It seems like most people who’ve responded are interested in bowling, but there might be fewer people than I originally predicted overall.

Habetler is a couple blocks from my place so I’ve been there a time or two. The bar there is quite large so I think we’ll be ok for non-bowling, sitting-around area. I’ve never had any food there and the options at that intersection aren’t great. There’s Paterno’s, a mexican place (4 Hermanos?), Popeyes, Gyros King (which isn’t too bad). Gale Street Inn is a few blocks down and the out of towners or first timers might consider Superdawg.
ETA: And I’ll bowl a game or two also…
Okay, so, I’m going to finalize the plans for Saturday this afternoon, based on what I’m seeing here. At the moment, I’m presuming that if you didn’t respond with an “I’m in” (either via PM, the thread or IRL), you’re not in, largely because of the need to figure out how many lanes we will need. I imagine I can change things tomorrow or Thursday if I have to, but that’s questionable. I am not planning anything but bowling. I’d like to, but I’ve got a lot on my plate right now, and I just can’t. If someone else would like to step up to the plate, that’s absolutely fine by me. I’ll even (probably) show up to the “before bowling” events, I just can’t make the plans for something solid.
As for tonight, I will be at the aforementioned Bar Louie for dollar burgers. Anyone who wishes is welcome to join me. If you’d like to join me and don’t know what I look like, PM me for my cell phone number. I’ll also try to figure out if I left a distinctive shirt unpacked, and if so I’ll wear it and post what it is. I’m planning on going early (5pm-7pm time frame), but could potentially be persuaded to go later in that spectrum. I still have some packing to do, but I am happy to work that around dinner. I will probably also be going next Tuesday (last Tuesday in town for awhile), and that could also be open, if people are interested (though I know kittenblue will no longer be in town).
Sadly, I’m out, due to my parents coming into town for Daughter’s graduation next day. It sounds like fun–I like the Science Surplus store and I completely suck at bowling (albeit I’m better than our junior senator). I wish I could join you all. 
That’s too bad, eleanorigby. It would have been nice to meet you again before I left. But I’ll be back in the fall, and I hope there will be another dopefest sometime in the fall or winter.
Oh yeah - crap. I’m likely out too. Some family from far out of town are visiting and it looks like that’ll be ‘party with the cousins’ night.
Mr Bus Guy, I do believe you are avoiding meeting me! Dead relatives, busted knees, and now cousins sneaking in to visit? At least the excuses are getting less serious. 
Anyway, all joking aside, I’m sorry to not meet you, but I’ll be back (and around for the duration of a PhD), so I’m sure we’ll cross paths at some point. Enjoy your night out with your family.

I am truly bummed to not be able to go. I wanted to see everyone and see if jnglmassiv is as cute in real life. <sigh> I bet I could beat him at bowling, too…
We will have to do this again in the fall, maybe late Septemberish.
Yeah, I’m out too, the ex switched days on me so I’ve got kids with volleyball and soccer practice to attend.

I’m going to be heading out in probably half an hour, which puts me at Bar Louie at about 6pm tonight. I’ll be in the back room, if I can. Black T-shirt, blue jeans, olive green sneakers (if you can see them). At this point, I don’t expect anyone to join me, so I’ll have a book as well, but anyone who wishes to attend is welcome.
As for bowling, I’m going to try to call them this evening, after my cell phone minutes are free. I can’t figure out what time they close, but I think they’ll still be open. If I’m wrong, I’ll call them first thing in the morning.
