As mentioned elsewhere, our elderly cat will make his last trip to the vet on 9 July. Our other kittehs aren’t supposed to eat his food so that will leave us with about half of a 20 pound bag of Purina Cat Chow Complete.
Not sure if the local animal shelter would accept an open bag but we can ask if no Dopers are interested.
If animal shelters won’t take it (I think some do, some don’t), try food pantries also. Some repackage them into individual servings to give out.
To who? Or to whom? I forget which it is.
People needing food from food pantries often have pets in need of food as well.
