Anyone know the dimensions and capacity of a Federation Starship from Star Wars?

Not sure if this belongs in the Cafe, so MODS please move if necessary.

I’ve noticed HBO is showing all 6 of the Star Wars series, and I really enjoy watching them in succession. The attention to detail is wonderful. I was wondering: I do a fair amount of work with scale in some of the designs I create in the various Cad programs I have, and I was thinking about those federation star ships. They look really big, and even though they only exist in our imagination, I was wondering the real-world size of one of those buggers.

Has anyone ever calculated the size of one of those? Or the capacity?

They look to be at least the size of 4 or 5 air craft carriers placed one in front of the other. Anyone know? I’m sure there muct be some star wars geek sites out there that have this sort of data. [no offense I love SW]

Unless you’re talking about the GFFA Federation Starships are in Startrek! Did you mean Imperial Ships? Like ISD ?

Sadly, the Wookiepedia entry doesn’t seem to list that sort of detail. It does give some references that might be good starting points, though.
