Anyone notice how much healthier the hamsters seem lately?

I notice that the SDMB has been responding much faster lately, and that now Fathom seems to take forever. Did the Reader spring for more hamster food? Whatever it is, I offer my thanks to the Chicago Reader and His Awesomeness (Cecil, who else?). It was really frustrating waiting sometimes for several minutes only to find that a posting was lost when the system went down. Hasn’ty happened for a while now, and I’m grateful.

Now watch…the hamsters will have died just before I hit “SUBMIT.” :smiley:

Actually, I believe that the hamster was replaced, after Ed Zotti tried to feed the “poor widdle hamster” and almost got his poor widdle arm chewed off. What I’ve heard is that Ed got a human-size wheel, and that Wildest Bill, JDT, and He Who Shall Not Be Named have been forced to take turns in the wheel.
