Anyone Playing Wurm Online?

Interesting things about it on the official site and the Wiki. Been reading tons about it. If it seems reminicent of Minecraft, that may not be an accident. Notch was involved in its development, though he has since left. Looks like it may well be fun, but I was wondering if anyone who shared my opinion originally has taken a drastic turn after actually experiencing it.

Oh, what are the system requirements? Strangely, though I’ve found lots of technical info on graphics cards and such, no simple “these are recomended system specs for running the client”. I’m currently w/o a computer, though I should be buying one soon.

Thanks in advance!

GreenHell never got a reply, but just a bump to say that I tried it this weekend. I’ve been looking to scratch my survival game itch, and Wurm Online looked promising.

After about an hour, I just couldn’t get used to the controls and UI. Most MMOs - heck, most first person games - use a pretty standard mouse+keyboard movement scheme. WO uses something a bit backwards (and the mouse can’t be remapped), and I grew too frustrated, so I gave up. Also, everytime your mouse pointer moves over virtually anything in the landscape, the associated tile/block lights up.
