My step son is in a bad way. He lost his mother last year. His dad and I are trying to bring 4 teenagers into a stable home environment. He has issues with her death (he was the one who found her) but refuses help. His gyrations are affecting the whole family. Today he got expelled for school for carrying tobacco and a knife on campus. Last week he assaulted another boy and has charges against him. We are considering holding a “family intervention” meeting which those of you familiar with AA or ACOA will be knowledgeable about.
We’d like to get him to seek help.
Any thoughts, ideas, past recollections, tips, Anything would be greatly appreciated. This is tearing us up.
