Anyone up for a game of Diplomacy?

I sent emails to all who expressed interest to by via email. If you didn’t get it Captain_C, I apologize. You’re in game two which I’m hoping will fill up shortly.

Emails in the profile, people. I need two more people emailing me for game two!

The wait is killing me…!

My soldiers are poised on the bor… uh…

I mean…

Take your time. My tiny, unimpressive army is busy making flower gardens. Yeah.

Anyone for a demitasse?

Email sent.

I’ll print out the map from home and refer to it as suggested. Which means the Austrian army are ready to go and make flower gardens with the best of 'em. Bring it ooooon!

Is game 2 filled yet? My armies await with baited breath…

I understand the French have mouthwash.

:smack:

Bated breath.

I think we’re waiting for one more. I may have counted wrong, though.

More is better, that’s all I’m going to say…

See, we need more players. Maybe my breath should be baited after all…

So, what’s our current status? I’ve seen 3 “I’m in” e-mails.

Also, should these sorts of things now be taken to private e-mails?

Yeah, what’s the hold-up guys? Let’s get this thing started already!

There are players in the first game that haven’t responded to any of the e-mails–at least, they haven’t replied all. Jonathan, I’m assuming that we have enough players between the two lists to run a game–can we combine rosters? If the AWOL players in game one haven’t shown up by now, I’m thinking they’re not going to …

I agree with SCSimmons. If they can’t even manage to respond to the roll call on time they aren’t going to get in 10 turns of orders on time either.

Good enough. We have enough players there but there’ll be some extras who’ll have to observe or be alternates or somesuch.

There is that, I suppose.

Before my psuedo-vacation, we had about 4 folks who were waiting for a game.

Any takers? C’mon, you know you want to play!

So the French are coming to me to surrender? This will save me a trip across the Channel. How thoughtful!

Looks like Greece may be wildly up for grabs.

No bounce in the Black Sea? Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Yeah, looks like someone either trusts someone implicitly, or someone has been telling someone else a few fibs…
