Diplomacy Game One: The thread of doom!

Hello all. As some of you may have noticed I’m GM for a few SDMB Diplomacy games. All the players are Dopers and going by their handles.

“Hey”, says I to myself, “What could be better than starting a thread for each game so other Dopers can kibitz, insult, praise and generally heckle the players and myself, your humble GM.”

So what say you? The first deadline for Game one (Dip CECIL 934 in correct parlance) is tomorrow, November 13, 2001 at 7AM Eastern time.

Dewey Cheatem Undhow: Turkey

Only 3 of them have their orders in to date…

I’ll be posting each turn as they happen at that website and giving some play by play right here as well.

Um, based on the Diplomacy games I’ve played the ‘Somebody going down’ is probably Austria. :eek:

Maeglin, I didn’t mean that to say that you had attacked me or anything (but, on the other hand, now you don’t have “easy access to English supply centres.”) I had entered that before I even received the results of the orders.

I’ll swap you a case of Scotch for some of the smelly cheese. You know the one.

And you should know better than to be too close to an Englishman with your pants down.
