Anyone use a 'wedge' pillow for dyspepsia? Which one to buy?

I want to get a Wedge Pillow to treat dyspepsia; the reviews on Amazon seem to be harsh on the cheaper ones. I noticed also that there are more expensive ones, one by Bedge ($300) and “Prop up Pillow” for about $80. Supposedly they use real memory foam, although the “Prop up Pillow” website looks poorly put together and doesn’t have dimensions of the product.

Anyone use either of those? Or any wedge pillow at all?

I was always told that you are better off raising the head of your bed.

If that’s not an option, the main requirement is that it’s firm enough that it won’t go flat on you, and that the incline is gentle enough that it doesn’t bother you. Softness is not that big a deal, as you can put pads or even a pillow on top of it. Memory foam is just an inch thick–any thicker and the pillow would lose shape.

Honestly, I just went with one of the cheaper ones, and I was fine. The only real problem is that I don’t like sleeping on my back.

I got one at Bed Bath & Beyond at a fairly cheap price, & it helps with my GERD.
