Anyone want cookbooks for the cost of shipping?

I mentioned this in a thread I started a few weeks ago: Is there any interest in a cookbook or two?

I’ve got somewhere over 250 cookbooks just in the house.

I’m willing to give as many as you want to anyone in the U.S. for the price of shipping USPS media mail. I will let you know after I mail the books how much shipping was. If you need to budget, figure about 5 for the first book, and about 3 for each one after that. That’s probably going to give you a figure that’s more what it will actually cost. (There’s a couple of small books that probably will come in less than a dollar on shipping. If that happens, I’ll waive shipping)

If you live in the DFW area or want to travel here, you can have as many as you want for free. I’ll even meet you halfway if you live in DFW.
List of books is here: Cookbooks
I’ve broken the list down into categories. They are:
Celebrity Cookbooks
Christmas - may include crafts
Community cookbooks from churches
Community cookbooks from non-church organizations
Cooking implements - recipes to use your new shiny whatever
Diet Cookbooks
General - books to wide-ranging to classify
Ingredient based cookbooks (the notes column is going to be redundant, mostly)
Mixed drinks books - , mostly gimme books, all of these are small,so shipping will be very little, may include party foods
Reference - housekeeping or food related, but not primarily recipes
Regional Cuisines - foods from different parts of the world
Sweets and desserts
Themed - random themes that someone thought would make good reason for a book
Variations on a type of food

Hi Zyada, if your Vegetarian Epicure and Vegetarian Epicure Book 2 cookbooks are both in good condition, I’ll take them both (mine are really falling apart after years of service). Same for your Pleyn Delit book on medieval cooking. Message me if so, and I’ll send you my address. Thanks!

Also, fist bump to First United Methodist Church of Euless, TX for simply titling their community cookbook Burnt Offerings! :stuck_out_tongue:

Zyada, I see about six I’d like to have. I’ll PM you the names, and if they’re still available I’ll send you my address.

I would like these if they’re still available:
23: 25th Anniversary Cookbook
24: 35th Anniversary Cookbook
32: What’s cooking at Kwantlen
38: Cookery around the world
45: Lagniappe cookery
200: Cookbook of the UN
217: Da Kine Drink Book
243: Favorite recipes of home economics teachers
246: A collection of the very finest recipes
261: Family favorites
282: Great American Cookbook

Thanks! If I find some good recipes, I’ll share them here.
