Size has never mattered to me. I dated guys who were taller and shorter; my ex-husband was dead-on the same height.
The only times it mattered was if my rather extreme height bothered the guy. I’m a long drink of water and nuthin’s gonna change that. If the guy doesn’t mind my height I don’t give a whoop about his.
Probably the greatest guy I ever dated was a stocky, 5’5" fireplug of a guy: fiercely intelligent, funnier than all hell and GREAT company. We probably looked weird from an aesthetic viewpoint–Mutt and Jeff–but it just plain didn’t matter.
I would just like to add that I’m an overweight female and I can’t imagine being with a guy that is any smaller than me. Perhaps by a few pounds, but not “skinny.” I would not feel “safe in his arms” as it were. Plus I would just feel disgusting being naked around him.
However, me and my fatassed boyfriend get along swimmingly and neither of us are afraid of how the other looks
Oh, and I want boys to be my height or taller (5’8"+)
Generally prefer tall women. I like to talk with someone and be able to look them in the eye without looking down. I would date a woman taller than me, though I never have ( the pool would be rather small - I’m 6’1").
How important is it to me? Truepisces is 5’. Eye to eye? Not even to the top of my shoulder. I may have a preference for sizes, but it is a very minor criteria.
I’m 6 foot. My ideal woman is about 5’5", with a happy tolerance of about 3" either side of that. I have a distinct problem with 5’9" and over, not so bothered about under 5’2". 6’ and over is just a total non-starter.
Don’t ask me why. I think this thread shows it takes all sorts and all tastes.
