AOW Weapon Purchase by Corporation in Texas

yeah, I know it is redundant like atm machine, but I figured it would make the title clearer.in a recent thread this shotgun was listed: super shorty
Our family business is a corporation and was wondering what steps would be necessary to purchase one of these that way rather than as an individual. Specifically, do you need to be a certain type of corporation? I am going to the range tommorow and was going to see if my local dealer is a class II and ask him also, but wanted some other opinions from fellow dopers.

I hope you didn’t need to shoot anything. Cause with that shorty, ya ain’t gonna hit it.

Less’n its 5 feet away.

lol, you’re right , but damn that is a cool little gun. by the way we are an S corporation.

Find a class III dealer in your area to get the specifics. A friend of mine has purchased NFA weapons as a corporation and the only difference was that he did not need to get approval from the county sheriff. You’ll still have to submit form four, a fingerprint card and photos to the BATFE for background check.

I thought that fingerprints and photos were not required, since the corp. is buying it not you.

No, the corporation only eliminates the local LEO signoff, you still need the FBI background check.
