I have to disagree with you on this one girlfriend, there are some fairly obnoxious individuals in here and it comes through in every forum. Even though they may not come right out and call someone a fucking idiot there is a lot of that being implied in the other forums. Sometimes I read through it but I’ve been exposed to enough intellectual snobs in my day as to have a big old fat belly full of them by now.

This is the Straight Dope Message Board. Not one of the pansy boards where everyone pretends to like everyone else. Yea you have your buttholes on here just like you do anywhere else, some people would consider me one I would dare say. But I’m not gonna be any different here than I am IRL so people either accept me as I am or they don’t. Not everyone will like you, not everyone will dislike you. Just don’t lump everyone in the same boat because they may not have the same opinion as you.
I did not say that everyone here was an asshole. And I must give the ones who are credit…they sure as hell do take pride in it! I signed on here because I thought many of the subjects interesting. (Although I do think Great Debates if it continues on like it has been should be renamed Great Religous Debates. They don’t seem to be able to talk about much else.) I will leave if it gets to point when I’m no longer having fun.
The pollen has really gotten to me…can I have another one of those Ice Teas and an antihistamine?
