If they hadn’t already jumped the shark years ago, it would be.
Indeed.

finally got to see the juror episode - I think the writers must have thought they were being awfully clever -
I find it hilarious that the police are unwilling/unable/don’t investigate Cam’s Identity Theft issue when she was arrested at gunpoint at the beginning of it - I am also very surprised it was NOT Pelant.
Overall, this was a good episode and more true to the old Bones formula - We even got Bones to argue down a priest - twice!
Haven’t watched it for quite a while, but I only watched it for Angela anyway.
I think Bones may have un-jumped the shark. It seems to have morphed back into a regular procedural show with normal plots.
still way too preachy -
Well, I don’t mean everything is fixed. I’m just glad it isn’t about The Baby anymore.
agreed - overall it was an improvement.
(I know, continuing to be an annoying DVRing watch-it-much later person.)
Just watched the Juror episode.
Sheesh. The first set of questions on our juror info forms are all about: Are you in law enforcement? Are you related to someone in law enforcement? etc.
She wouldn’t have made it thru the first round of jury selection. Let alone survived the face-to-face Q&A. Plus she is a mildly famous author. A lot of lawyers don’t want famous people on the panel since the others might defer to them.
Again, a body in the water for 36 hours won’t have decomposed that much. I know that had to set a short time frame due to the plot, by why have such a half-gone body?
They did do one thing just right though: Bones and Booth in the car had an exchange like this:
Booth: You sure are quiet.
Bones: That’s because I didn’t say anything.
Booth: Well, that explains it.
This is exactly the type of side interactions these two people would have. (Mrs. FtG and I have these kind of jokey back-and-forths all the time.)
The thing is, Tempe wasn’t kidding. :dubious:
Yep. It was pretty clear that whoever wrote the most recent episode started with an agenda to bash big food, then wrote a (fairly flimsy) episode around it. It was about as subtle as those times they talk about what great features their new Product Placement has.
In the last ep, during the bachelorette party, Cam does something while sitting at the table where she drops something in a drink and apparently wins big bucks. What was that all about?
StG
I thought she floated a coin on the surface of the drink. Maybe some kind of “I’m a scientist and know all about surface tension and you don’t” bet?
