Another vote that you did the right thing. How on earth that anyone could think it wrong that there were condoms involved when this girl was already having sex, truly doesn’t understand that component didn’t matter. She didn’t need anyone’s permission or encouragement or anything else to have sex. She’d be having it, before and after, with or without protection. Easier access is irrelevant. Would the grandfather have called up Planned Parenthood and bitched them out if that’s where they came from? He projects too much.
Honestly. I think he would have bitched out planned parenthood or CVS for selling condoms to minors or anyone else that helped her acquire contraceptives.
I am sad that we haven’t seen or heard from her in days. A few face book posts from her brother’s phone saying she is sad and lonely but I think she is still in teen jail as far as communication with anyone other than her fellow students and parents.
She did send me a private message that she has no plans to do anything foolish several days ago so I am hanging on to that. It is amazing to me how much I miss having her around all the time. It is like losing a daughter. Actually just writing this has me tearing up.
