I know this isn’t Apple support, but I would like to get the advice of fellow dopers on an odd issue I encountered with my Apple watch. This morning I removed it from the charger like I usually do, and the battery life read 100%. About an hour later I noticed the watch seemed to be dead. After holding the crown and side button down for several seconds the watch turned on. The battery life read 97%, and now several hours it reads 82%, which is not unusual. The problem is that it is no longer synced to my phone, and my phone seems to not recognize it. Everything else on the watch that doesn’t require being synced to the phone still works normally. Have any of you Apple watch users experienced this problem before? My phone still pairs normally with other Bluetooth devices, just not with the watch. The watch as not been dropped, hit or gotten wet. Thank you for looking and for any advice you may have :).
Anytime I have connection problems with mine, I always restart both. Turn off watch. Restart (after closing all apps) phone and wait for it to fully boot. Then start watch. You mentioned restarting the watch. Did you restart your phone also?
