I would swear that a promo at the end of Thursday’s episode urged you to watch the repeat on Saturday when there would be “fifteen more minutes” of boardroom footage.
But…my TV Guide has the program in a one hour slot. So…
Is the show expanded? If so, when does it start? (I have to be out tonight, and must set the vcr.)
OR
Is it one hour, but they’ve edited it differently, removing some footage to add more board room stuff?
Revising my opinion: Jennifer M. was the only one to ctaegrically state that the Apex women’s picking on Stacy J. was a ‘scapegoat’ move. She was the ONLY one to say that Stacy J. worked her ass off unloading boxes and that she never saw the odd behavior from the first task since. Although she did admit being nervous watching Stacy’s behavior at the time – because she thought it might escalate – she never once said she personally felt threatened or frightened.
Everyone else on that team, by varying degrees, can go choke on a goat.
I thought the extra board minutes were interesting when they started to talk about Stacie J. I forgot who said it, but one of the women said that Stacie went around to each of them and stuck her finger in their face demanding to know what was going on. Stacie J apparently believed that since the rest of the room was quiet, that they knew something that she didnt. And that was that Stacie J was going to be fired. I could see how that could be intimidating and might be perceived as “crazy”.
I’d sure like to see the first episode again. One of the women mentioned Stacie J. going around to each of them and shaking a finger in their face. That’s a teensy bit flakey, but still not scary or threatening.
Trump came off a bit more even-handed tonight, but the women (except for one of the Jennifers) retain their slimey bitch status.
So the story about Apex hiring someone to help move boxes who was subsequently injured was a hoax? Or something the producers didn’t want us to see, ever?
I don’t know about that. I can see how some would feel a bit frightened if a virtual stranger went around shaking her finger in their faces. And remember–at this point, it’s no stretch to say that she is indeed practically a stranger to them all.
And depending on how she did the finger-shaking, it could seem plenty frightening indeed.
I’d be uncomfortable, but not frightened. I guess I’m splitting hairs. Uncomfortable can surely equal frightened, especially in a new situation, with strangers.
At what point did the board room discussion begin to focus on Stacie J.? Who started it? Was it Elizabeth? Or Maria? (I knew I should have taped it.)
I wish Trump, Carolyn, or George would have asked Elizabeth specifically about having to waste time putting out Stacie J.'s fires. What did Stacie J. do in this task that caused problems? I wonder if we’ll ever know.
Maria is the one who spilled the beans about Stacie’s erratic behavior during Task 1. She said she was going to “say what everyone else was afraid to say,” and then went on to say that it was “almost like there were two Stacies.” Elizabeth backed her up, and that’s when Trump decided to call everyone else back in.
To go along with that question, I wanted to know how Jennifer C. and Stacie got all that toothpaste out of the warehouse with only a van and 3 minutes. We never did find that out, did we? That could have been a major fire to put out. If the whole team had to get trucks, load and unload vehicles with those boxes, etc., that could have been back-breaking and time consuming, leading to Maria having to call the printer at 2am.
