Like other things, you need to figure that out from context. It’s a US coin, as are most of the coins in the game, even though we canadians also have pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.

Not really.

I do in the sense that I am currently playing in two campaigns and have played in at least 2 others, I don’t in the sense that all these campaigns have been on messageboards and so are not considered “real” D&D by the people I am playing with who actually know what they are doing.
