I liked it, but I always enjoy when they get dropped into different stereotypical environments. The running gags are getting to be more funny as they become more familiar - I love the “everyone in the women’s restroom talking when Mallory walks in” gag.
Speaking of that, did anyone else notice the sign to the right of the exit on the bathroom wall? It’s a typical “Employees mush wash hands before returning to work” sign but someone had crossed out “Employees” and scrawled “Pam”. Who at the time was in the stall, feet propped up on the assist bars spraying some damn graffiti on the walls. And then proceeded to sign up for Krieger’s Bum Fight Shock Night (or something…I’ve got that wrong I’m sure).
Anyway, a good episode with (as usual) a bunch of quotable lines.
Archer: I feel sick.
Barry: That’s because you drank too much.
Archer: That’s a thing?
Barry (to the cops): Okay, I’m coming out now!
Archer (weakly and laughing): Phrasing!
Great episode–enjoyable despite my being sick when I watched it last night. What was up with that cow(?) character though–Pam had graffiti’d it on the bathroom stall, and it was on Archer’s hat.
It’s the logo from Pam’s family farm in Wisconsin. Poovy Farms? Ploovy Farms? Pam once made a tiny replica of it out of marzipan which Mallory melted with coffee.
I was happy enough to see Ray walking again that I didn’t even care about the ridiculous excuse for it I think the producers just said “Ok, joke’s over on that one, let’s get Ray back in the show for real”.
Sorry. This week’s was a bit of a let down from the previous week’s “Lo Scandalo” (which I consider one of the best in the series). Still quite quotable:
“Are there just no towers here or have we literally gone back in time?”
“Both.”
"Two questions. Is that the sheriff and have you recently gone insane?”
“Yes and no.”
“Respectively?”
"It would be rude not to eat her pie which I assume is not only hot but also moist although hopefully not flaky.”
I liked seeing Dr. Krieger again in this episode. I think that character is due for an episode that features him more, especially after reading this (and seeing his Rush van with him painted on the side).
