Same here. The show used to be must-watch for me, now I haven’t even bothered watching all of Season 8. Writing just went way steadily downhill and the various shifts in theme haven’t done it for me.

I liked Dreamland. The show was getting stale and they realized a way to keep the same characters, but refresh the premise and because it’s a cartoon, they can set it anywhere and in any timeline.

Incidentally, H. Jon Benjamin appeared on Last Week Tonight, uh… last week. He was the “defendant” in the Tot Bench sketch.

I personally thought it was the funniest season - and certainly the best written story arc - since Vice. Season 6 was OK, but a serious drop from Vice, and season 7 and Dreamland were both steps up.
I believe that Archer is no longer on Netflix.
