This could be a very interesting season. I like the vibe so far.
Woodhouse was quite highly decorated. I even checked that all the honors were real; he received the four highest British military honors – Victoria Cross (VC), Distinguished Service Order (DSO), Distinguished Service Cross (DSC), and Military Cross (MC) – plus he was a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath (GCB).
That’s one thing I love about this show: in addition to being extremely funny, it’s also intelligent. I also had to look up Granville Sharp last night.
Well, for the first time in the history of this show, I was actually more involved in the plot than the humor. This looks really interesting and very unique.
That being said, I did laugh quite a bit. Kreiger the bartender had me rolling.

Thank you for posting that link. I read it before the show, so when the wife looked over at me puzzled by the reference, I could show off my encyclopedic knowledge like a total ass. 
Well, the Archer Season 8 (Dreamland) season finale was last night (at least the FXX teasers said it was the finale - and we did find out who really killed Woodhouse). This was the first season I’ve seen all episodes of since Season 3.
This finale wasn’t bad, and since the robot dogs were introduced in previous episodes they were not true “deus ex machina”…er…machines. There were a couple of teasers in show with Archer going into the light…but nope, he didn’t wake from his coma.
Overall, this season was decent. It has been announced that there will be a Season 9 and 10 , but whether they will be set in c1947 L.A. remains to be seen.
I liked the season, but I was surprised it didn’t end in the “real world”, so to speak. At any rate, I thought it was an improvement over “Archer Vice” (which made me start wondering if it was time to start packing it in).
Bumped.
Finally got around to watching S8. Meh. I liked the LA 1947 setting, and it was fun to see all the cast playing variations on their original roles, but I just didn’t laugh all that much. Where did the funny go? And yes, SirRay, I guess Archer is still in his coma! A disappointment, all in all, I thought.
