Yay! Thanks for the new thread.
It’s fitting it’ll be film noir, since Archer was Sam Spade’s partner.
Noir was last season. This season is Danger Island! Pre-WW2 South Pacific adventures with the same people playing different roles. Sorta.
As I posted in the S8 thread, I was underwhelmed by the show last season, but since even at its worst Archer is watchable, I suppose I’m cautiously optimistic about S9. A South Pacific adventure has real potential.

I, too, was underwhelmed by last season. It just never jelled for me. But this season could be great. All Clutch Cargo, Gardner McKay, Tiki III, South Pacific and shit.
Does this mean that Archer season 8 will soon be on Netflix so the Mrs. and I can get caught up finally?
