This last episode left a bad taste in my mouth. I think I seriously hate Mallory now.

I think it was Popeye, the owner of the laundromat/bar.
Now, now - look at it from her side. Any decent mother who saw how carelessly her 8-year old son was treating his new bike would have done the same. Taken it away and beaten him with a ping-pong paddle for losing it. It’s only common sense :p!
Seriously, I love how they have taken pains to develop the notion that while Archer is a total douche, he actually has feelings and is a douche at least partially as a result of his horrific upbringing.
It’s pretty well established that Mallory is a horrible, horrible mother. At the end of the first season, “Dial M for Mother,” I believe, when Archer was breaking down her door he said something like: “How does it feel for you to be on the other side of the door, crying, while I’m laughing and having fun.”
Or something of that nature. She really is a bad person all around.
That’s the same paddle (or at least an identical-looking one) Archer has used to spank some of his girlfriends.
My favourite bit:

Not as much as you’d expect.
I thought it was Cee Lo Green at first, who was everywhere last week thanks to his cameo on the Super Bowl halftime show and The Voice premiering, but Super Fly seems to make more sense.
