"Archer" Season Six Coherent Preview Thread

Lana, no! The helium!

…ring ring…ring ring…

“Hello?”

“7 days…”

Danger zone

Way to go, Choke-ley Carmichael.

Yes! I missed his character so much and I’ve been waiting for him to appear and tell us more about him.

How can an airboat be selfish?!?

Just a reminder that the premiere is tonight. Time to rebuild Fort Kickass!

…and enter the DANGER ZONE!

What’d everyone think? I liked that it was a reboot and that we get to see Archer actually succeed. It was getting a little tiresome for them to constantly fail.

I didn’t get the whole office remodel thing with Cheryl. I was disappointed. The only part that made me laugh was the secret hot tub with Krieger and Pam.

I was pleasantly surprised. I HATED last season. Hated it with a passion and nearly stopped watching the show.

This episode wasn’t the greatest, but I thought it was a good start.

I was wondering was it Krieger? He didn’t seem to know Pam’s name. Maybe he is one of the other ones from last year.

A bit disappointed. I’m not really complaining or anything but it seemed a bit less…dense in the dialog than I expect.

Glad to have the show back, but an underwhelming episode. The holographic office, created just to disappoint Mrs. Archer, was kind of funny, as was the secret hot tub. I assume this “Krieger” is one of the other Hitler clones from the banana republic. I also liked that Archer awakened, out in the jungle, mumbling the words from the Life cereal ad from the Seventies (Life cereal: Mikey likes it! - YouTube).

But overall, it was disappointing.

Just rewatched it this morning. Caught a very clever one liner that I missed during initial viewing. After the “new” office is revealed, Malory is talking to Lana while pouring a drink and she moans, “ugh…even the ice is the same…” with an extra emphasis on ICE IS.

Hah! Missed that. Saw the big logo being carried out, though…

If it was any other show I would say you’re looking too closely at a random line.

However given the layers this staff writes…no doubt whatsoever that you’re probably right

Yeah, this was a pretty ho-hum episode. Not as boring/devoid of good lines as some, but also nothing great. Does a good-enough job “unrebooting” the show though.

I’d really like Sato to be a recurring character, though I have my doubts it’ll happen.

He’s a real uncompromising son.

Well, they could always do a Sato-Woodhouse storyline with the war.
