Archer's coming back! Who's excited?

How can an air boat be selfish?

Sex addiction IS a real thing!!!

And I am so there!

Danger Zone!!

I’ve got my Tactileneck™ and my scotch all ready to go.

I’ve never seen this show. Can someone give me a quick synopsis before I painfully sit through episode after episode wondering if it’s ever going to get better or if I should just slit my throat and get it over with?

I don’t think I could survive another Flash Forward or The Event experience.

It’s the animated adventures of a ludicrously dysfunctional espionage agency. Sort of like Get Smart, as written by the Farrely Brothers.

The first episode is a good representation of the series. If you don’t like that one, you probably won’t like any of them.

I second this statement. Is dying within ten minutes of the first episode, to the point where I had to pause it. If you don’t like the first episode you won’t like the show.

I’m a huge fan, but didn’t care for the first episode. Try Skytanic (season 1), or Placebo Effect (season 2).

Both are on Netflix.

Or better yet, search Best of Archer on YouTube for a sample.

Archer: Stop screaming! You’re wearing a bulletproof vest!

Cheryl gets shot in the arm: OW!

Archer: But it is…a vest.

Hee. El Secuestro is a classic.

Can’t wait!

Bring it!

Thanks for the heads up, I just went and ordered it.

And I picked up this for the office while I was there.

For, you know, those awkward conversations with cow-orkers.

It’s just like the gypsy woman said!

Thanks. I searched, honest I did, but BeeDubU2’s thread didn’t appear.

Well imagine that.

Or more accurately, it’s Arrested Development, only animated and set in a spy agency.

I understand that people want to make the Arrested Development connection what with the voice actors, the puns/wordplay, and the dysfunctional mother/son relationship but it’s a lot less wacky and drops more pop references. It hints at AD but doesn’t emulate it.

Which is a good thing, because I love Archer and absolutely loathed Arrested Development.
