Are black panties evil?

I’m looking for some black panties.

Plain, cotton briefs.

For my seven year old daughter.

I’ve looked in dozens of stores and the only panties that any of them sell in her size are plain white or the horrible floral patterned ones. I want black or navy.

A little girl is very active. Twisting and turning, sitting and standing, bending over. If her pants are not pulled just so, her t-shirt tucked just so, you can sometimes see her underwear. For gymnastics, she wears a black bodysuit. It’s not high cut, but at the leg line, you can sometimes see a glimpse of the edge of her underwear, if it’s not adjusted properly. It wouldn’t look quite so horrible if it at least matched her bodysuit.

Fruit of the Loom seems to have a monopoly on girl’s underwear, and they don’t make them in black. Why not? Does nobody else want their daughter’s panties to blend in with her clothing rather than stick out like a sore thumb?

The only answer is buy the white ones and use Rit dye to dye them black.

They just don’t make them in that color for that age girl. At least, not that I have seen. Shopping for daughters for years makes me think I would have seen them by now.

I had a horrid time finding a black tank top for my 2 year old daughter about 15 years ago—children didn’t get to wear black. She had a pair of yellow shorts with black polka-dots and sandles to match. Finally found one at a Kids R Us.
The Rit dye sounds like the easiest route.

Black panties seem to have some sort of sexual connotation. I dunno why. They’re a hell of a lot better than wearing none at all.

Around here, everyone knows that only evil girls wear black panties.

Perhaps you could find a black bikini in her size and she could wear that?

Perhaps you might want to try a trip to a dancers’ supply store. They may have something suitable – if not black panties (do most gymnasts/dancers even wear panties under their leotards?) then perhaps she’d be more comfortable in a unitard style suit that she can wear for her classes, the kind with the slightly longer (mid-thigh) leg.

My 3-year-old had an adorable jumper that was blue denim, but had leopard-print trim. It was a hand-me-down from a friend, and I’m sure it originally came with a matching shirt, but by the time we got it, there was no shirt. I thought a black T-shirt would be perfect, but had a hell of a time finding one in her size. Finally found one with the dancing stuff at the back of Wal-Mart.

I know Lovepats makes black panties, and I know they make panties for girls. I wonder if they make black panties for girls? You could look. If not, go with the Rit dye thing.

Why the black panties gotta be evil? Why can’t we all get along?

Black panties are not evil, unless they’re black from being worn every day and never washed. Then evil=vile.

Actually, I think just about anything black is way cool.

Would the Rit dye be safe, though? There’s good reasons most panties come with undyed white cotton crotches sewn in, right?

Girlie TMI alert! runs out screaming

Alas, poor Dutchboy! I hardly knew ye. :stuck_out_tongue:

This thread is way not what I thought it would be!

The problem with Rit dye is that it’s very hard to get black to come out black. If you do dye, use two packs.

Maybe some batman Underoos would fit the bill?

Can’t go wrong with Batman. Having said that, how come they never made Joker underwear or bedsheets? I was always the eeeevil kid…

Black undies? Not available in childrens sizes?

Try Abercrombie & Fitch, they must have them.

Check this out.

This after I confessed to wearing black panties on another thread. Dutchboy, your panty fetish has been thoroughly exposed.

Are you suggesting I only like evil girls…?

It isn’t a panty fetish. <sigh> It’s a chula fetish

You only wear black panties if you want them to be seen. Everyone knows this.
