Cecil mentioned multiple orgasms and status orgasmus - sustained orgasms. I’ve heard that M to F transsexuals don’t have the same “drained” feeling after orgasm as they did pre-op, presumably because whatever hormone causes that state is produced by the bits that are removed. Does sex reassignment surgery also affect multiple/sustained orgasms?

I routinely have multiple orgasms and I’ve had a couple of instances of what may well be status orgasmus, although I am no expert and I could easily be wrong.

I’m preoperative, although my hormone regimen has nearly completely shut down the factory.

One of our science channels had a show on human sexuality that discussed this. One of the researchers wired up men and women with all kinds of sensors to discover things like the strength of muscle contractions, how many peaks there are, etc.

As I recall, the consensus was that the female orgasm was stronger, and of course some females had strings of them in a row (but not all females). But whether they are perceived as stronger or better by the brain, I have no idea.

It depends on the person in question, but overall, I’d have to go with Cecil since the ‘research’ I’ve done supports his findings.

But…but… he says “nine times” is “pretty close” since women’s orgasms can be 20-60 seconds. Does the male orgasm really only last about 2 to 10 seconds?!

I can confirm that, as I sometimes still have both male and female orgasms, often in close temporal proximity. The female ones are much stronger and longer lasting; the male ones (which, for me, are now quite rare, but they still happen) are weaker and are associated with the let-down that I don’t experience after one or even several female orgasms. The muscles involved are also quite different.

There was a period, early on in my hormone therapy, when I would often have both in close proximity; not only is it possible for one person to experience both male and female orgasms, but to do so at the same time. I know; I’ve done it. Once I started androgen blockers, this became less frequent.
