You missed my earlier post. They may have claimed straight but also were bicurious or had dated girls in the past or were bi in the past. Also, if it wasn’t for all girls being bi where would this stereotype come from in the first place?

Alright, let’s just limit it to friends and family I’ve known more than 30 years (you know, longer than you’ve been alive).
Hmmm… out of the 40 or so females I know that fall into that category 2 were definite lesbians (oldest sister, college friend). 2 are bi (best friend, casual friend). The rest have never expressed an interest in women within my hearing, have never demonstrated any form of sexual activity with women within my sight, have never dated any women, and therefore I conclude they are straight. As to their private fantasies, they’ve kept them private.
I suppose you could say “But - but - they might not have told you they might be doing other women when you can’t see it they might have dated someone you don’t know about …” etc. etc. but hey, you could equally argue they’re screwing goats in secret, or carve zucchini into little pagan idols and bury them in the yard without anyone’s knowledge.
You keep claiming that all these girls are groping each other in public. Really? The only lesbians I currently spend significant time with, my current boss and her partner of 28 years, don’t do this. Hell, I’ve never so much have seen them hold hands with each other in public and they’re long-term lesbians and completely out of the closet. And herein lies my point…you are much older then I am, I’m guessing over 45, so your generation of women is far more heterosexual than my own. At school, all the lesbians are all over each other holding hands and even making out on campus. To be honest it is. Very tiring knowing they are more open about their sexuality than heterosexual couples. My generation of girls are all bi. Yours isn’t. I think for ages 40 and below the rates are really, really high.

To be fair, there’s actually something to that. In past generations, approaching another woman sexually was inviting ostracism and worse. Today, young women do in fact make out all the time. Every woman I’ve ever dated has been hit on by other women. I doubt that someone in my parents’ generation could say the same.
