Well, there’s a small problem with his first assumption there. Several Dopers want to see some proof that 90% of the female population is bi/bicurious/lesbian.
This makes a little more sense when he says that he’s 24, and [POST=14947176]lives in Miami, the land of lezzies and bi girls.[/POST]
Cue many offerings of studies and personal experience that contradicts him. But don’t worry, why admit defeat when you can just move the goal posts?
See? Almost all women are bicurious. If your experiences differ, it’s because you’re too old, don’t go clubbing enough, not American, too sheltered or live in a homophobic, conservative region. But other than that, nearly all women are bicurious.
Actual large scale, well funded studies from the Williams Institute in 2011 don’t deter him either.
Fred13 then proceeds to insist that any woman who has ever kissed another woman - for any reason and at any time in her history - is bicurious, [POST=14949022] even if she’s pretending[/POST]. It doesn’t matter how you identify yourself now. He knows better.
Don’t worry, it would be an insult to 24 year olds everywhere to classify you with them, and we’re too polite for that.
Belowjob2.0 agrees that within the entertainment industry, many young women have lesbian flings, but he doesn’t think it’s anything more than a fling for most of them and clarifies that he’s speaking only of the entertainment industry. Fred13 thinks he has a loyal supporter.
It’s so secritive that only Fred13, using his keen insight into human nature, has been able to detect this, and he didn’t even know it was supposed to be secret. But then Belowjob2.0 drops a bomb on the conversation and says that men in the entertainment world [post=14949008]have a lot of homosexual flings too[/post].
There’s also something about eels. Dirty, dirty, eels.
Fred13, I salute you. Troll or not, this is the most amusing thread I’ve seen in a long time. Well played, sir, well played.
That whole thread is entertainment gold for some reason. Obviously I don’t actually know my sexuality and need someone on the Internet to inform me what I truly am. According to Fred13 anyhoo.
You kept your composure much better than I would have! Most of the thread is point-and-laugh material but that bit was truly pit worthy. More sexually mature than thou, my ass.
Well, 5 or 10 years ago I’d have been more upset. But at 36, I know that no one is better qualified to tell me my sexuality than me, and no one is responsible for it but me.
He doesn’t seem to realize that by asserting that other people’s experiences may vary because they haven’t gone clubbing enough to see what he’s seen, he’s conceded that club girls are in fact not typical of the general female population.
Less than 24 hours and it’s already up to 6 pages and climbing. It’s gonna be so dull around here when spring break is over and [del]Right Said Fred[/del] Fred13 has to go back to algebra class.
I have never wanted a sexual experience with another woman, and out of all of my female friends, I’d say 95% of them haven’t either (unless it’s a secret). What I can’t figure out is, is this because we are too old, or too ugly?
