Well, I don’t know what the hell to do over the weekend while pretending to clean if nobody’s posting new threads.
Well, obviously you should be composing a sonnet sequence in honor of me. It woud need to be 15 sonnets line; the first line of each of the first fourteen sonnets would each be a line in the fifteenth sonnet. And the theme could be, “This, Lord Skaldy, is why you should spare me from being eaten by your genetically engineered winged monkeys when you finally get off your lazy ass and conquer the earth.” :dubious:
I almost never open new threads, but unless I have an urgent question (e.g. My grill has set my deck on fire - what to do? Need answer fast!) I think I’d probably wait until my brilliant witticisms can be preserved for posterity.
ETA: I’m assuming that by ‘open’ you mean ‘start’ new threads. I’d still read new things, especially because I think people will be goofier during Amnesia Weekend.

I think the weekend is the perfect time to launch a few “things you don’t want the board to remember” threads. Like “Name Your Creepy Kink” and “When Was the Last Time You Wet the Bed?”
I intend to start crappy threads that won’t be remembered, or missed.
In other words, business as usual.
I probably won’t start anything, but that’s more to do with how infrequently I start threads rather than anything special about this weekend.
The boards may not remember, but we will.
I’ll believe in the upgrade when I experience that it actually is better than what we mess with currently. During the weekend I won’t waste my time starting threads. They’re probably trying to just have less activity by scaring us that our posts will disappear.
