Poor Fnord; that ass-chewing really was unfortunate because you were set up–all in fun, but it wasn’t really your fault.
(Background explanation: when Fnord introduced himself, a bunch of regs did the usual tongue-in-cheek initiation things, including smilies to annoy Chief Scott. It was the usual joking around stuff, but Fnord was too new to know that.)
Just as an observation, I doubt anyone could depend on gentleness from our female mods. They don’t inspire awe by being wimps.

Actually Veb, I kinda knew that Chiefie didn’t like em, but still I was new, and didnt know any better. Since then I have yet to use a smiley. Not out of fear of a nuclear attack, but the hassle of re-planting my garden, and the fallout would be a bitch too.

Ahh goat molestation my favorite college sport.
But take it from me, it is really only a spectator sport. So much fun to watch drunken frat pledges try and get in. I got in only because I refused.
