I saw a diamond commercial on TV last night that only showed a snippet of a “movie”. Guy snowed in at airport (with HUGE diamond necklace) runs off into a blizzard to make it home for Christmas. And silly me, thinking it would be like the BMW commercials and worth seeing, actually went to http://www.adiamondisforever.com/ to see the ending.

Horrid site. Very hard to read then It was a hideously long, tortuous montage of inane web clutter and pointless movie clips. It just wouldn’t end.
You know how in really bad sci-fi movies you start cheering for the monster? I started rooting for the storm. This idiot deserved to be found frozen in a snow back. Trying to get from Minneapolis to Chicago IN A BLIZZARD without any transportation or a parka? Whoever wrote this crap was high, recently fired from Hallmark Cards, or had never seen snow. Possibly all three.
It took almost an hour to work through all the links and crap, trying to get to the guy finally getting home… and he doesn’t. The final link was “See the Homecoming in 6 days.”
ARGH. If I didn’t hate these people before, I do now.
