We’ve been rewatching the existing episodes this month in anticipation and I honestly believe that the show has gotten better with age. The lack of internet and cell phones is the only thing that seems dated. But the jokes seem to be even more poignant today.
The kid with a lightsaber YouTube video was spoofed with George Michael in the spot.
Also, Michael used a cell phone quite a bit.

It was Tobias trying to figure out how to use a cellphone with a camera that nearly started another Iraq war.
The family doesn’t strike me as very gadget-minded, but heck, I didn’t get my first cellphone until 2002 or so.
ducati, one of the few bright-line rules we have around here is to not change the material in quote boxes – even when it’s an actual correction, a joke both people think is funny, or some other innocuous change. Please don’t do this.
