I did that in Bryce. The rider and horse were imported from Poser. So it’s a digital image. (640 x 480 IIRC)
I use it for a wallpaper at Halloween.
Forget the scanner. Just come out here and buy the stuff. I assume the same for every one else who has submitted.

Racing The moon reminds me of The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, Gaudere’s work has kind of a Van Goh-ish feel to it and Spoofe’s work is delightfully unafraid of it’s own lines.
Oh Spavined, you little silly. I don’t need a scanner for other people’s art, I need one so that I can submit more clear and finer resolution images of MY art !!!
Those two photographs were sent in by the clumsy process of me taking a Mini DV Cam with Memory Stick and actually shooting a fairly lousy resolution digital photo of the prints. Yechhy way to accomplish what ought to be a simple task.
I shall submit quite a few more, and dear Euty can cull through and post up what is fitting.
Few things would make me happier than being able to buy a piece of the art I see here. Or, about 7 pieces of the art I see here…
**Euty[/], when do you plan to update this thing? My ego can hardly stand the suspense. Do you need more stuff to make an update worth while? If so, let me urge anyone who has paintings, photos, pottery, sculpture, computer graphics, drawings, or what ever to submit. This is a fun feature and pretty revealing about our fellow Dopers. If it’s good stuff it needs to be supported by contributors and visitors alike.
I’ll try to do an update sometime this weekend. I do still have a few pieces from the teemsters that I haven’t had the chance to put up yet. I’ll probably just be updating it once a month or, depending on how much artwork comes in, onve every two months and announce new arrivals along with the new issue of Teemings.

Euty, for future reference, you can also get the free StuffIt expander for Windows or Linux from Aladdin Systems. I have a copy on my PC, and it’s handy when I buy fonts from Adobe (what, PC users don’t use fonts? :doubtful )

Spavined, you dear. I just got the Godfather of all scanners. It came with a box of fresh canolis. 
I plan to INUNDATE Euty with high quality scans of the works I’ve been doing !! It’s this HP Scanner with Slide/Negative capability. Can’t wait !!!
