Hm, photopat, are you familiar with the works of Michael Kenna, Rolfe Horn, or David Fokos? (Rolfe Horn maintains Kenna’s website, which explains their similar looks).
Just chiming in to say that I love Spavined Gelding’s Gundeck No. 2. What is the medium, and original size of the piece? Where is your studio? Where is Gundeck No. 1?

Thank you very much. It is a painting. Oil on canvas, 36" x 30" ( I think). Gundeck No 1 was my first attempt, this is attempt No 2. I work out of a one room school house on our remnant of a farm a couple of miles south of West Union, Iowa. Both paintings are, as they say, “in the collection of the artist.”
If anyone is interested, there are a fair number of professional, semi-professional and (such as myself) dilettante artists working out here in the boondocks of Northeast Iowa. We have a tour of studios every fall. Here is the web site for the tour.
